For this ILP, I watched a video on  Sketching DNA: Points/vertices, lines/curves, and planes/surfaces. In this video I learned about the different ways and techniques to sketch out different things you want to draw. When you drawing you have to go at different speeds so that everything flows together smoothly. You have to make sure that each line is draw perfectly to form the perfect shape as well. I learned the different forms of sketching as well and how each form takes a certain technique.

When I become a teacher I think I will find my self using excel and surveys very often in my classroom. Not just with myself but with my students as well. Using excel as a teacher can help in many ways. For example, keeping track of students grades, things like attendance or points can help out a lot. As for my students, ill be teaching history so my students can put together work shits and graphs like a timeline. My students can take surveys on what they know or think they may know regarding events through out time in history. I can use surveys to find out what things my students find interesting throughout the school year. My classmates had a lot of interesting things that they learned through out this semester. One of the most interesting things I learned was about the 3D printers and new smart boards that were at the tech showcase. I also learned different types things teachers use in their classrooms. Each person had a lot of cool stuff that they learned. One technology-rel...

The flipped classroom in terms means taking things you would learn inside the classroom and learning them outside the classroom. For example an online class would kind of be like a flipped classroom. Instead of going to an actual classroom and learning all of your information you would learn it all through a computer screen. Teachers find flipped classrooms better because they can focus on the student one on one a lot more. You're activities would be done online as well through what ever program your school is using at that time. For example, if you do an online class for FSU, you would use what is called Canvas to do all of your homework and view your classes. Open education resources also known as OER's can be found anyway. Teachers all over the world use these to connect with each other, use ideas and things they find for their classrooms or find things their students can connect with. These resources include things like photos, videos, and other things. The owners of t...

While working with Diigo I learned a lot of different skills I didn't know was available. I learned that not only can you bookmark certain pages, you can adds tags so people can easily find that page. You can add sticky notes to the annotations you add as well. Diigo can be very useful for all different kinds of people. Rather it be students. classmates, work mates or anybody. If you use this in your class you can have your students search for tags that they may think will bring up different pages they are looking for. I would use this in instances like doing a research paper or trying to put a presentation together. Using power point at different levels of Blooms Taxonomy would help students in different areas. In power point you can have specific slides designed to pin point each level and reach out to the students in different ways. For example when it comes to the remembering level, you could reuse some of the slides that you used in other levels like evaluate and analyze. Ea...

They can also get different ideas for things to do in class off of YouTube. Youtube offers a variatey of different learning videos for teachers.  Teachers can use linkedin to look for other things that may be available to their students or classrooms. So far I've learned a lot of different things using Twitter on a daily basis. Twitter opens up a whole new world of communicatin between others. Using Twitter I've learned that almost everybody no matter what kind of profession you are in, uses Twitter. Teachers use them to connect with other teachers, friends talk to other friends. Some of the benefits to using Twitter is being able to contact with people all over the word. People can get ideas from other people, companies can push the brand or products on things like Twitter.  So far using Twitter I haven't ran into issues with it or the people on it. https://education.weebly.com/weebly/main.php#/ I learned a lot of different things trying to create my own web page. There are many different back grounds and layouts of how to form you're perfect page. You can have more then 4 pages within your one home page as well and I though that was pretty cool. I liked all the different ways you could add exactly what pict...

In these photos you can see the different things that took place out the education seminar that went down. Different things like a 3d printer, smart boards that you can record on and show in a class room. There was thing called a 3d Pen as well that when heated up you could draw something and would come out as a figure. There was a lot of different things to look at that shows you how advanced technology is today and how its going to change even more in the future.
