Two of the standards I feel like i would be able to teach would be doing print or digital text and recounting details from a text. I feel that I'm really good at remembering things that are read to me are that i hear through a media out lite so I would be able to teach younger children this skill. Being able to teach younger children to use the information the receive from illustrations to find out the plot, settings and characters would be easy as well. I could have them read a short story and then tell me each of the things they learned through out the story. I would need to gain more knowledge with using digital tools and electronic menus and such. I would use the tool and resource for the third grade history lesson plan. I would use this tool because it has a lot of ideas that help kids work together in groups to determine and talk about immigration in the 1900's. In school i'm always using the computer any many ways. One of the ways is using MS Word. I've used Word to write lots of papers for high school classes and college classes. I've also used word to make study guides to prepare for exams or quizzes and I've also used MS word to take notes for classes such a this one right here. I've seen my teachers use Word in many of the same ways. They may use it to type up quizzes or test or use it to write the lesson plan to post on the board for students to see when they get to class. Teachers may use Word to help keep track of the different things they do throughout class that day as well. In college I've had a few run ins with copyright when trying to write papers or make power points for some of my classes. I've had to go and check with my professors and even look online when i wanted to use a picture or a video clip that tied in things to make sure they were okay to use without getting in trouble. The way the world is evolving today and the standards teachers are help up to are a few of the many reasons technology is used in the classrooms today. Using technology helps students become more advanced in the their learnings and it also makes it easier to help teach a lot of kids at one time. Kids these days much rather read a lecture or do work on a computer rather than sit at a desk and read it out of a book all day. One of the ISTE standards that is very meaningful to me is the innovative designer . The one standard that is out side of my current goal is global collaborator. Being an innovative designer Im always to work with many different things and bring things together that make sense. I love coming up with new ways to solve problems that every one can come together on and make things easier.
